Warren Cottage underwent extensive renovation in 2011 and now has facillities for a maximum of 24 visitors.
The building has an electric heating system, with electric radiators in most rooms however there is also a wood/coal fire in the kitchen which can provide additional heat to the building if required (all visitors will need to provide their own wood/coal if they wish to use the fire place).
The Cottage features a modern kitchen, with sink unit, electric cookers, fridge/freezer, microwaves and kettles. There are also a number of power sockets if you wish to use any of your own appliances. There are a range of pots, pans and cooking utensils alongside sufficient cutlery and crockery for 24 persons.
The large hall/dining room area is an ideal space for both dining and indoor games and activities. The hall/dining room is equipped with folding tables and benches plus a small number of chairs.
The Cottage features it’s own private toilet and washing facilities, including a dedicated disabled toilet/shower room. The main toilet/wash area features, toilets, showers and wash basins.
There a three fully carpeted bedrooms. The first is on the ground floor and is suitable for disabled visitors and features two bunk beds and a single bed. The remaining two rooms are on the first floor. Bedroom 1 sleeps a maximum of six, in two bunk beds with additional mattresses to use on the floor. Bedroom 2 has a mixture of bunk beds and single beds with additional mattresses to use on the floor and is suitable for a maximum of 12 persons, there are storage units in this room for visitors belongings.
