The Teesdale Building is small wooden building with indoor accomodation for 16 people. It forms a perfect base for Scout and Explorer camps, or is equally as useful for overspill from Warren Cottage.
The building consists of three bedrooms, a kitchen area and a small hall/communal area. The bedrooms each have bunk beds fitted, two of the rooms sleep six and the other sleeps four. The kitchen area features a kettle, microwave, a fridge freezer and sufficient cutlery and crockery for 16 visitors. Due to the wooden construction of the building there can be no indoor cooking other than by kettle, microwave and small electric cooker/oven; for this reason there is a large barbeque/alter fire close to the building for outdoor cooking.
There are no toilet facilities within the building and no running water, however there are toilets/wash room and pan washing facilities that are shared with other campers situated to the rear of Warren Cottage.
Electricity is provided to the Teesdale Building using a coin meter. A credit of £5 per night will be applied to the meter upon arrival however any usage above this should be paid for by the group using the building. The meter accepts £1 and £2 coins only.
